The Montessori Method is based on the belief that children have an innate desire and capacity to learn. The Montessori classroom is set up to provide children the opportunities for hands-on experience with various materials and purposeful activities under the direction of a trained teacher. Children learn at their own pace and develop their own self-discipline and motivation to learn as they progress from one activity to another.
