A Brief History of ILM Academy

ILM Academy began in the fall of 2006 sparked by a vision of providing a high quality, holistic education rooted in Islamic values. The school started a single classroom redesigned to fit the needs of a licensed facility and then moved into a superior Education Center next door. In this facility, we have expanded within the building, beginning from the foundation of the thriving Montessori program and adding one elementary grade each year. Next year, we will be completing the elementary school by adding on 5th grade and intend to move on into middle school in the following years.

Our curriculum and educational philosophy provide a distinctive atmosphere in which the children learn and grow. The combination of high academic standards, Islamic values, and character education in a nurturing environment provide a holistic approach to education that values each child's individual strengths and addresses his/her academic, spiritual, social, and emotional development.

As we look to the future, we hope to expand our operations by building the second floor of our school building so that we can accommodate multiple elementary and middle school classrooms, library, media center, and science labs by the fall of 2013 to meet the growing demand for our academy.
